Originally from South Eastern Virginia, Joey Octaviano discovered a talent for Long Distance Swimming during his mid-college years. Swimming and fitness have been an outlet for him during the stressful times of pursuing the arts both as a Acting Major in College and as an actor and artist in New York City. His credentials include a Double B.A. in Theatre and Communication , A Real Estate License in New York State, and TESL certification (pending August 2006). He will be teaching English in France in 2007, but plans to make it to New York for the NYC Swim Swims in the summer.
