I always seem to seek a challenge. However, this time I am swimming for my training partner, Nancy Steadman Martin's benefit. She quit the 2009 Ederle swim and has had a difficult time with "the quit." With Nancy: I have conquered the English Channel; I swam the Catalina Channel in 2008. I completed the Ederle Swim in October 2006; I've completed the Around Manhattan Island Swim in 2000 & 2003 & 2007. I was Nancy's kayaker in 2009 for the Ederle Swim. She thinks ahe needs me in the water - So here I am. I need to help Nancy get over her QUIT!
