Wendy Bank works in residential real estate sales and development. Wendy started swimming year round at six years of age and swam until 13 with an age group team in Minnesota; then she did synchronized swimming in high school where she came in 2nd in the state. Wendy didn’t swim again until her early 30’s when after one too many marathons and getting hurt, she jumped into the Boulder, CO masters swim program and started competing all over again. In her mid-40’s she decided to give open water swimming a try and found it was just as fun! Wendy has competed in the Horsetooth 2.4 mile swim, the Boulder Bare Bones 2 mile swim and was lucky enough to cross the English Channel in a successful relay swim in 2010.
