I volunteer to learn from the swimmers individually and as a whole. it's been a few years since i've been drawn to the open water in hopes of understanding martial arts better but I hadn't known about the people who actually immerse themselves into the open water until recently. I know it must be the right direction to take when I see how even calmer and humbler the swimmers emerge from their communion with this great element of Nature. I volunteer in order to (learn to) document on film the indescribable glow and grace of movement that the swimmers carry from water to land, how they just stand taller , see wider and seem able to stay open hearted. Thank you for making the events possible! I hope to in time take the plunge, too!
