Andres is the Estonian record holder of all backstroke events — long course and short course — and the 800 free. He swam 200 backstroke at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. At the Rome World Swimming Championships, he set 4 national Estonia records. He wins 6-8 lake swims in Estonia every year, but this will be his first try at 10K.
