About Harald

Started my swimming career at the Racing Club de France in Paris when I was 6. I was on their team until I was 18, then swam in college and continued as a Masters swimmer for the AS Montrouge until I moved to New York in 2002 where I joined the West Side Y. I've been a backstroker for a long time and recently placed second at the YMCA nationals for 50, 100 and 200 back in my age category. Although technically a sprinter, I enjoy swimming in the Hudson during the summer.
