I'm a recovering road runner who's discovered the joys of trails and ultras and maybe some day off-road tri's. I'm a lousy swimmer but love the open water, and try to squeeze in a multisport event or open water swim every summer between my trail and ultra runs. Member of New York Flyers, and former Master's captain. A former Red Tide member. Moderator and co-creator of the "NYC Trails and Ultras" Yahoo discussion group (nyf_trails)--come join us, open to all! By day, I teach international affairs at Columbia and The New School, and consult on international economic development and business issues.
