Brooklyn Bridge Swim
Usually we swim alongside a coastline, sometimes around islands, but rarely do we get to cross a channel. This is your chance to swim your way from Manhattan across the East River to Brooklyn, in the shadow of the most famous bridge in the world. To add to the allure, teams from Brooklyn and Manhattan will compete in the Battle of the Bridge.
After the swim, hop on the ferry and head back to Manhattan with the NYC Swim staff to enjoy some fun in the sun at the Water Taxi Beach at South Street Seaport (near the swim start location). This informal, pay-as-you-go get together is a great way to round out a swimming-filled Saturday morning!
