Course Description

Swimmers will enter the water at Gangeway One in Battery Park, and then swim out 25 yards clearing Pier A, the north, along the seawall with the tide, to the North Cove Yacht Harbor, in Battery Park City.

This event provides a dramatic, water-level view of the Statue of Liberty, Staten Island, Jersey City and of course, the fabulous skyline of the southern tip of Manhattan.

Swimmers swim along the Battery's seawall, past Castle Clinton, past the South Cove and up to the North Cove.
