    Enrollment for the Clinic as a Paddler or Support Swimmer

    Join us for an informal gathering of paddlers from 9:00AM-3:00PM to share skills and experiences to support a safe and successful swim race. Come prepared to get wet and have fun-we will practice assisted rescues. For those new to, or considering kayak swim support for MIMS, please download the safety briefing presentation from last year's race for additional information.

    Experience Requirement:This is an intermediate event with some experience in open water conditions required. 
    Predicted Water Conditions:Seasonal Temperature 52/60°F. There can be a substantial amount of chop in the water from wind, tide action, and boat traffic. The waterways are brackish and there is shipping traffic. There may be random jetsam and flotsam in the waterways. Water temperature has recently averaged 58.1°F.
