| Directions to Start: | The swim will take place on Governors Island. Participants and volunteers can get to the Island by taking advantage of the free Governors Island Ferry service, which leaves from the Battery Maritime Building in lower Manhattan. The full ferry schedule to and from Governors Island and directions to the Battery Maritime Building can be found here closer to the event date. Bikes are allowed on the ferry free of charge; riders are responsible for securing their own bikes. NYC Swim is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen bikes.
Please allow ample time to arrive at Governors Island. Note that weekend disruptions to subway service are possible. Check www.mta.info for service advisories that may affect your trip. |
