On Sunday, September 6, New York City will be the swimming capital of the world!
NYC Swim proudly presents the New York City Pro Swim, the seventh leg of the FINA 10K Marathon Swimming circuit and the only American stop on the World Cup tour. The event offers a unique and challenging course, with breathtaking vistas of Lower Manhattan, Governors Island, and the Statue of Liberty.

Participants and volunteers can get to the Island by taking advantage of the free Governors Island Ferry service, which leaves from the Battery Maritime Building in lower Manhattan. The full ferry schedule to and from Governors Island and directions to the Battery Maritime Building can be found here closer to the event date. Bikes are allowed on the ferry free of charge; riders are responsible for securing their own bikes. NYC Swim is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen bikes.
