Take the (R) to Rector Street or take the (4,5) to Bowling Green. Walk due west. Cross West Street into Battery Park City. Continue walk west to the promenade along Hudson River and head to north to the North Cove Yacht Harbor.

Take the M9, M10, or M22 to Battery Park City. NCYH is downtown in Battery Park City outside of the World Financial Center’s Winter Garden. NCYH is on South End Avenue between Two World Financial Center and the Hudson River.

Take the West Side Highway (Route 9A) south; continue on as it turns into West street. At the end of West Street, turn right onto Battery Place. Pier A and Robert Wagner, Jr. Park are located near the intersection of West Street and Battery Place. Streetside parking may be limited. Public parking garages are available throughout Battery Park City and at the Battery Parking Garage between Greenwich Street and West Street. Entrances are available on Morris, Greenwich and Washington Streets.
By Subway :
Take the 4/5 to Bowling Green, or take the 1 to Rector and walk down Greenwich. Walk west along Battery Place until you pass Historic Battery Park and enter Battery Park City. Check www.mta.info for service advisories that may affect your trip.
By Bus :
Take the M9, M10, or M22 to Battery Park City.

Solo Swimmers
All solo applicants must complete and submit proof of a Qualifying Swim by May 31, 2007 in order to be eligible to participate.
Qualifying Swim includes:
2005 or 2006 finishers of the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim, or
2005 or 2006 finishers of the English Channel solo swim, or
2005 or 2006 finishers of the Catalina Channel Swim, or
Open-water swim that is 4 hours or longer in water that is 75°F (23.88°C) or colder,
completed between June 1, 2006 and May 31, 2007, without
a wetsuit. (Please see details and requirements about qualifying swims under Policies/Qualifications.)
If you have not completed a Qualifying Swim before your application is submitted, your application may be approved subject to the satisfactory completion of the Qualifying Swim, provided you submit proof of a Qualifying Swim before May 31, 2007.
2-Person Relay Teams
Each member of a 2-person relay team must complete the qualifying swim by May 31, 2007. Specifically a qualifying swim is:
Solo MIMS Requirements above, or
Finisher of a 2-person or 4-Person MIMS relay in 2005 or 2006, orOpen-water swim that is 2 hours and 30 minutes or longer in water that is 75°F (23.88°C) or colder,
completed between June 1, 2006 and May 31, 2007, without
a wetsuit. (Please see details and requirements about qualifying swims under Policies/Qualifications.)
4-Person and 6-Person Open Relay Teams
Each member of a 4-person or 6-person relay team must complete the qualifying swim by May 31, 2007. Relay members must submit an appropriate copy of, or a link to, swim race results as proof of having completed a qualifying swim; or a pool certification in a manner consistent with the sample template, which can be accessed on your user profile swimmer page.
Each qualifying swim, should include one of the the following:
2-person MIMS Relay Team Member requirements above, or an open water swim race of at least 1500 meters in a Prescribed Water Temperature since June 2005, or
a triathlon than includes a swim leg of at least 1500 meters in a Prescribed Water Temperature since June 2005, or
a NYC Swim open-water swim race of any length in a Prescribed Water Temperature since June 2005, or
a continuous 1-mile pool swim in 45 minutes or better (for 6-person relays) or a continuous 2-mile pool swim in 1 hour 30 minutes or better (for 4-person relays), or
Open-water swim that is 30 minutes or longer in water that is 75°F (23.88°C) or colder,
completed between June 1, 2006 and May 31, 2007, without

Qualifying Swims: Qualifying pool swims for relay participants must take place in a traditional swimming pool; "Endless Pool" swims are not acceptable for qualification purposes. Proof of the qualifying swim must be submitted by May 31, 2007. NYC Swim will rescind the acceptance of any solo applicant or relay team that fails to submit proof of completion of his/her qualifying swim(s) by May 31, 2007. The complete application and all fees must be received by December 15, 2006. NYC Swim will not consider any incomplete applications for solo swimmers and relay teams that do not include payment in full of the entry fee.
