Your registration for a NYC Swim swim is not complete until the NYC Swim receives acceptable evidence of your qualifying swim. To participate in the NYC Aquathlon: Freedom Tower, you must have completed one of the following:

* Any DOCUMENTED timed open water swim race of 3/4 Mile or more since May 2004
* Any DOCUMENTED Sprint Triathlon with a timed Open Water Swim since May 2004
* A continuous 1-mile pool swim in 45 minutes or better. Your qualifying swim must take place no earlier than March 1, 2006, and all pool certifications must be received by NYC Swim at least 14 days prior to the date of the race. Pool Certification must be submitted in a manner consistent with the sample template, which can be accessed on your user profile swimmer page. |
