Little Red Lighthouse Swim

The Little Red Lighthouse swim is a 5.85 Mile swim from Clinton Cove (Pier 96), Hudson River Park at 56th Street to 165th Street, within view of the Little Red Lighthouse. This event's course has evolved over the years. This season we're swimming north, with the current, to the lighthouse. This event is named, of course, after the Little Red Lighthouse that sits under the GW Bridge on the Manhattan side of the Hudson river.

Your qualifying swim must take place no earlier than March 1st of the current year, and all pool certifications must be received by NYC Swim at least 14 days prior to the date of the race.
Predicted Water Conditions:Approximately 70 to 75 degrees. Wetsuits may be worn; however, swimmers in wetsuits will be ineligible for awards if the water temperature is 68°F (20°C) or higher.
